The only problem with this, is that once you purchase a npc with your sigils, it would probaly still be permament. Maybe 1 sigil for storage 2 for a priest of balthazar and 3 for a skill trainer, but every season reset you would have to purchase the npcs again.

Why tie it to sigils? You can simply buy them from a trader, thus just turning the GH enhancements as a gold sink anyway. Perhaps if you couldn't buy sigils your idea may have merit.

According to Gaile, she thought the GH add ons (storage, etc) will be given to guilds as "rewards" - rewards for what I cannot say or speculate, as she wasn't any more clearer about it. We'll find out some day, I guess.
